Front wings are "kinda" on.

Purists look away!
In order to get the guards to sit flat on the chassis rails, I had to cut a relief opening in the sides for the suspension to poke through. I'll fabricate some covers at a later date to close the holes in. In my defense, the hole I had to cut was no where near as big as the rust hole above it! That'll have to be patched as well. :) And yes, these are still the same original guards that were on the car when I got it.
The support bars that hold the guards square are soaking in the molasses at the moment and should be ready in about a week

Motor now in correct position.

I now have the motor resting at the correct height and ready to fabricate the engine and transmission mounts. The project is finally on the move again.

Rolling out for a little bit of sunshine

Work has been slow, but I was able to roll the Dodge out in the sun today. I wanted to turn it round so I could start setting the motor up in it properly. . . and yes. . . Cut the fire wall!
Seeing it in the sunshine has given me a little more ambition to get it up and happening.
